Drinks music
Currently residing in Bristol and Brixton, Drinks' brew is a mélée of afrobeat, krautrock and straight up good time music, judiciously navigated by four finely fettled men who began mixing metaphors and making music together in summer 2007. Songs are propelled by a rhythm section that jams econo under guitars that steam, fizz and spiral around breathless words of home and hand. It goes down real smooth.
The four members of Drinks stem from the inimitable Brown Owl, Soe’za, Termites and You & the Atom Bomb. Roll call:
